WHAT'S
NEW AT BAREFOOT YOGA AND MASSAGE:
Yoga
for Kids continues! Sundays at 4 pm
"Yoga
Zoo"
is for children ages 4-11 and is led by Missie Ryan.
This class provides fun, exercise, and an unrecognized discipline for
kids. Children are able to release stress and anxiety and become more
focused by learning breath, poses, stillness and meditation. Almost all
poses take the role of an animal and the children imitate the animals.
Games are included. Classes are about 30-45 minutes. Cost is $10 per
child.

About Barefoot Yoga and Massage Studio
Barefoot Yoga and Massage is a modern studio offering a variety of yoga
classes and therapeutic massage services. The studio serves the
communities of Glen Mills, West Chester, Chadds Ford, Media, Aston and other
municipalities in Delaware County and Chester County as well as Wilmington,
Delaware.
Through yoga and bodywork, the Studio is a place to be
yourself and
to release the expectations of what you "should" be. In the yoga
classes, the emphasis is on progress not perfection. It's your yoga
practice. It's not about whether you can force your body into advanced postures,
but about the conversation that occurs between your mind and your body, and
about loving yourself for who you are right now. The massages that are offered
at the Studio are designed to relax, restore, and nurture through the art
of
touch.
We hope you'll stop in for a class or massage and experience this special
place for yourself.
Namaste!

“I
have sought knowledge and wisdom through academics and analysis.
I have sought physical conditioning through a variety of athletic
endeavors. I have sought spiritual connection through a myriad of external
stimuli. Each of these paths has
provided me with invaluable experiences from which to draw… or not.
Through yoga, I experience what seems to be the purest distillation
of physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional clarity that seem to emanate
from both within and without. Yoga reminds me that I am always a beginner.”
“At
Barefoot Yoga and Massage Studio, it is my intention to expand and enhance
my own personal practice, and to begin to give back what was and continues
to be so freely given to me. I
welcome each of you to practice and share with us the unfolding of your
own journey.” |

Mission Statement
To
provide a friendly, peaceful environment for the promotion and cultivation of
contentment, relaxation, and the union of mind, body, and spirit through the
practice of yoga and bodywork.
