Maria
McCabe began her yoga journey in 2003 when she stumbled into an Ashtanga yoga class and got hooked. At age 50 and carrying an unnecessary 65 pounds of excess weight, she struggled with many mid-life issues, including joint pain, listlessness and mood swings. Slowly but surely, her yoga practice has changed her body, her attitude and her life. In 2007 she was inspired to take
a Power Yoga the teacher training program in order to share with others the beauty and simplicity of a yoga practice. She is deeply grateful to the many yoga teachers who have shared their passion for yoga with such patience and enthusiasm. They taught her that it is never too late to begin and never too late to reclaim our bodies and our lives. |

encourage self -growth and healing. Having experienced the beauty and
benefits of vinyasa flow - when breath marries movement and the mind
starts to quiet - she now aspires to share the joy of yoga with others.
